While other pools leave most participants with busted brackets, our pool uses the Madness Squares format, ensuring a pool winner for every game. And every participant has the chance to win every game – even if you’ve already won!

How Much Can I Win?

Sweet 16 Round - $31.25 each game (8 games) March 27th & 28th
Elite 8 Round - $62.50 each game (4 games) March 29th & 30th
Final 4 Round - $125 each game (2 games) April 3rd
Championship Game - $250 (1 game) April 5th

How Do Madness Squares Work?

A 10x10 grid of boxes is setup and each row and column are assigned a number from 0 to 9. Each square of the grid can be claimed by pool participants.
Winning boxes are determined by looking at the final score of each game. The top row of numbers (horizontal) represents the winning team while the side (vertical) represents the losing team.
At the end of every game, the last digit of each teams' score is used to determine a pool winner.

Example

In this example, North Carolina is the winning team and the last digit of their score (73) is 3. We would look for the 3 across the top of the grid. Miami's score was 64, so we look for the 4 down the left side of the grid.

How is the Pool Managed?

After paying the $15-per-square fee, participants are assigned a login to the www.RunYourPool.com site by FTBL’s Fundraising Chairpersons.
Participants log into the site and click grid squares to claim them.
Participant squares are theirs for EVERY game, starting with the Sweet 16 Round March 27 & 28, 2021 through the Championship Game April 5, 2020.
At the end of every game, the www.RunYourPool.com site will automatically compare the last digit of each team's score is to determine a winner. Participants can use their login to see game results and pool winners.
FTBL’s Fundraising Chairpersons will pay winnings to the winners.
www.RunYourPool.com will list each individual winner as well as an aggregate count of how many times each pool member has won.
FTBL Board Members Gina Walker and Kate Makowski are FTBL’s Fundraising Chairpersons.
Every March Madness Squares pool hosted at www.RunYourPool.com includes a private message board. Only pool members can access it. It’s a great way to communicate with members who aren't lucky enough to be with you during the March Madness games.

How Do I Join the FTBL March Madness Pool?

E-mail your request to purchase a/multiple square(s) to [email protected].
Include your first and last name, the number of squares, and a phone number in case there are questions.
Make your payment to FTBL, by Paypal, Check or Cash.

Paypal payments should be made to: GinaW334
Venmo payments should be made to: @gina-walker-8

Checks should be made payable to "FTBL March Madness" and mailed to

Once your request and payment are received you will be e-mailed the log-in information to select your square(s).
Squares must be selected by March 21 @ 6pm.

· The Franklin Township Baseball League (FTBL) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer run organization that promotes, develops, and supervises youth baseball & softball. FTBL has been serving the diverse and growing Somerset NJ community since 1953, providing organized youth baseball programs for over 500 children annually, ranging in ages from 4 thru 18. The Mickey James FTBL Complex, located at 51 Dekalb Street, Somerset, consists of five fields (Tee-Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors, and Senior), new permanent restrooms, a small clubhouse, equipment sheds, 3 batting cages, and a Snack Shack.
